If you have any issues with your SD Motion Assist, Drive or Trike, please take the following steps.
Please first refer to the 'Troubleshooting' section of your user manual. These pages provide information on symptoms of malfunctions and their solutions.
If you are unable to resolve the issues yourself, please consult us to request repairs.
BATTERY INFORMATION SHEETS
Taking your SD Motion wheelchair abroad?
If you are travelling by air with your SD Motion, your airline may ask you to provide information about your wheelchair's battery.
Please refer to the battery data sheets and certificates provided below.
Li-ion battery (for newest SD Motion Drives)
These Li-ion batteries are only compatible with the newest SD Motion Drive systems, from August 2025 onwards
Li-ion 00 and 22 types
The Li-ion 00 and Li-ion 22 batteries are compatible with SD Motion Assist systems, the previous SD Motion Drive system (up until August 2025) and SD Motion Trikes
Ni-MH battery
The Ni-MH battery is compatible with SD Motion Assist systems, the previous SD Motion Drive system (up until August 2025) and SD Motion Trikes
